Deer's in Equestria are usually of the same color due to their nationality. However immigrant Deers from other country (Who may have decided to move to Equestria) look different. I feel as if there is lands beyond Equestria, that may feature animals of different features and colors to ones we see in Equestria, this can be justified by a scene in the show
